Do you feel emotionally supported by the people around you?
When life feels stressful, do you have someone you can talk to?
At times, do you feel alone even when others are nearby?

Take this free Social Support Test to understand how strong your support system is and how connected you feel in your personal life.

    What Is Social Support?

Social support means the emotional, practical, and personal help you receive from people around you. It may come from family, friends, partners, colleagues, teachers, mentors, or community members.

In daily life, healthy social support helps you feel valued, understood, and cared for. Moreover, it gives you strength during stressful times. With supportive people around you, you may find it easier to manage pressure, make decisions, and recover from difficult situations.

However, social support is not only about having many people around you. Instead, it is about having the right people who listen, respect your feelings, and offer help when you need it. Therefore, a person can have a large social circle and still feel unsupported.

Low social support can affect emotional well-being. For example, it may increase loneliness, stress, anxiety, and sadness. On the other hand, strong support can improve confidence, resilience, and overall life satisfaction.

People with low social support may experience these signs:

    • Feeling lonely or emotionally disconnected.
    • Having no one to talk to during stressful times.
    • Feeling misunderstood by family or friends.
    • Avoiding social contact or withdrawing from others.
    • Finding it hard to ask for help.
    • Feeling unsupported in important life decisions.
    • Believing that no one truly understands their struggles.

Now onto the Social Support assessment.
